Porsche 993 Turbo

So basically I've been trying to nail down shoulder curves and the placement of the top and main body.  

Actually that's been pretty pivotal in my learning... I believe it's really helped simplify forms.  That said, those shoulder curves are killing me!

Slight break!

I've been a little busy atm so haven't found much time for studies, that coupled with the fact that I'm really struggling with new shapes I'm trying to understand... Therefore have some skull studies! :)

Update! Random car study.

So I've come to the conclusion that breaking cars down into various parts and analysing them individually, is the best way to understand the type you're trying to draw.

I think I need to get out and do some car drawing irl too.  This book and google ref is great, but scale and weight still eludes me!

I've attached a page that has a few lines that I really like.  I think I'm finally starting to understand construction for these guys.  This coming week I'll be studying a sports car, should be fun! :D

So here she is, my first construction for a full car.

In a way I think I started to complex.  I need to focus more on the core shapes and build out from there.
